FAQ

How many guests can Grandview Estate accommodate?

      Up to 250 guests.  (additional fee will be applied)

How long is my venue rental on the wedding day?

      12 hours total (10am-10pm)

Is the venue open all 12 months out of the year?

       Grandview only holds weddings from May-September.

​

Who is in charge of setup and breakdown?

      It is up to the couple to figure out who is in charge of setup and teardown. Tables and chairs will be provided by the venue but will not be setup for you in advance nor taken down at the end of the night. Vendors will breakdown their own belongings. Everything must be out of the venue by the end of event.

Is there a certain time music must be shut off?

      9pm per the King County sound ordinance. 

​

How long do vendors have for clean up?

      Vendors are provided up to one hour of clean up time. Must depart by 10pm. 

​

Can a wedding ceremony take place inside the barn?

      A ceremony cannot take place inside of the barn, only outdoor.

Do we have to pick from a selected list of caterers or may we choose our own?

       We do not require our couples to choose from a specific caterers list. As long as they can show proof of license, then you are good to go!

Do you require a Day-of Coordinator for the wedding day?

         Yes, we do require our couples' to hire a day-of coordinator. Must not be a family member or friend. We can provide referrals as needed. 

​

What is your smoking policy?

         We ask that guests smoke in the designated area by the fire pit.

​

Alcohol policy?

         Alcohol must be served by a licensed bartender. If hard alcohol is preferred,  it will be an additional $1250 to the $750. A total damage deposit of $1500. 

​

Where do caterers prep at the venue?

          There is a designated area inside the barn with a sink and power hookups. We do not provide a way to cook the food onsite, it must come precooked. 

​

What is parking like at Grandview Estate?

       Parking is not limited. There is plenty of space in our field. There will be parking staff on the day of your event. 

​

Are there bathrooms on-site?

         Yes, there are two spacious porta pottys located on the back side of the barn near parking.

​

When is rehearsal and how much time is provided?

          Rehearsal is up to one hour long and must be the Thursday before your event. If no wedding on Friday then that day is available as well. 

​​

Who is in charge of garbage cleanup?

           Venue staff will take away garbage at the end of event. 

​

Are the cocktail tables included in my rental?

           The 5 cocktail tables are available to rent at $20 per table.

​

Are table linens available for rent?

             We have 5 white or black linens for the cocktail tables - included in rental. And we also have (30) 60" round white linens- $10 each.
